Over the years, I have been asked by students and early-career professionals how to navigate their education and career. I have been stopped randomly by students with these questions. I have responded to emails, answered telephone calls, reviewed admission essays, resumes, etc. Helping others in this way is deeply fulfilling, hence the birth of Joan Michaels, a career strategy and coaching consultancy.

As a career strategist and coach, I help students and early-stage professionals succeed in their education, careers, and lives by sharing my insights. I have built credibility through my own story. I have developed the skills, tools, attitudes, and strategies required to excel as a professional.
